Description of Camps
Learn To Ride Camp: Our Learn to Ride Camps offer children a group setting for learning to ride their bike through balance work and fun games in a social setting. 2022 was our first year offering Learn to Ride camp, and we had great success with this camp.
First Wheels: Our First Wheels Camps offer children who have already learned to ride their bike a chance to practice their new skills in a safe setting. The requirements for this camp are the ability to start and stop on your own and ride in a line. Our average ride distance for our full day FW camp is between 6 and 8 miles, while our half day camps average between 2 and 5 miles.
Rolling Ready: Rolling Ready is for a middle aged child (7-11), who is already riding, has developed good skills, and would like a little more mileage and adventure. Our average mileage for this camp is between 8 and 10 miles per day.
Hard Gears and Tour Camps: Our Hard Gears/Tour Camps are good for a pre-teen/teenaged youth who’s gotten good at riding safely on the roadway and is ready for a real challenge. Hard gears averages between 15-20 miles per day. This camp is probably not going to be a good fit for a youth who’s not ready to ride those miles.
**We are unable to provide a nut/allergen free environment.**
